Now in it’s 34th year, The Fiesta continues to celebrate Hispanic Latin American Culture with thanks to the support of the City of Yarra and the thousands who flock every year to Johnston Street to participate and celebrate in this fabulous two-day event.
Join the celebrations from Midday on both Saturday and Sunday with a large array of stalls offering mouth-watering selections of dishes and treats. The Main stage has a jam packed line-up of free dance classes, DJ’s and live entertainment all weekend as well as dance showcases by local dance schools and community groups.
The Fiesta has become one of Melbourne’s favourite outdoor festivals, not only because of the unique and extraordinary cultural experience it presents, but also because of its beautiful and friendly vibe that’s fun and interactive for the whole family!

Inspired by the commemoration of One Thousand years of the Spanish Language, the Hispanic Festival or Fiesta de la Hispanidad was officially established in 1978.
The Hispanic-Latin American Festival makes a significant contribution to the vibrancy and richness of Australia's multicultural society, depicting cultural and artistic expression through dance, music, theatre, film, sport, visual arts, and cuisine.
